Telehealth (phone or video) consultation fees:
- If you are a non-concession patient, the consultation fee will be $83 and there is no Medicare rebate. (Unfortunately, for political reasons, as at 16/5/20 the Government is still not allowing GPs to charge a normal “out of pocket” fee for Telehealth consultaions)
- If you are a concession patient then you will be bulk-billed (no “out of pocket” expense).
Payment is expected at time of consultation. We accept cash, credit cards and EFTPOS. All accounts will incur a $5 fee.
Higher fees apply on public holidays and for consultations outside clinic hours.
Bulk billing is available to concession patients (pensioners and patients with Health Care Cards) between 10am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Outside these times, a $20 out-of-pocket fee (gap) will be charged. NEW 11/11/19 : Children under 16 years of age on a Heath care Card may be bulk billed from 10am to 7pm weekdays
All new patients are expected to pay a full standard consultation fee at the time of their first consultation.
All Procedures will incur a $70 out-of-pocket fee. (except Iron Infusion, Venesection, Tongue tie, discuss with Reception)
Wound Dressings may incur a $15 to $25 out-of-pocket fee.
Mental Health Care Plans will always incur a $45 out of pocket fee ($35 concession)
As of 1 January 2017 all new WorkCover accounts will be the responsibility of the patient and will need to be paid on the day. Patients will have to claim their refund from TAC or their WorkCover Insurer. There will be a small out-of-pocket cost to the patient after claiming the rebate.
Appointments missed without notice, or cancelled inside two hours, may incur a cancellation charge. Medicare will not reimburse for missed appointments.
